When I get back from my Sunday long runs in the summer, I throw a couple of "recovery beers" into the pool from the deck and head right down for a swim in my running shorts. You're probably right. But I think I'd want to try two 1/2 miles at goal pace with a short recovery in between to see if goal pace is reasonable.<br /><br />Next, we have to get ER to start training for a beer mile.
