I wish Einstein was still around to explain why one minute on the treadmill = 5 minutes on the road. Repeats work because the whole time you're doing them you're saying. "Only .25 miles, .2, .15, .1 to go!" Well, I do that anyway : )The Emerging Runnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09326865074297618379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924908815112206508.post-66854672508215459282014-04-09T06:52:06.929-04:002014-04-09T06:52:06.929-04:00Repeats are about the only thing I can get myself ...Repeats are about the only thing I can get myself to do on a treadmill. I don't know how people do long runs on them.

It sounds like your training is going really well. I'm planning to run in a very similar way on Sunday and I don't care if I'm in the back of the Club Run pack when I get my 8. I'm glad you wrote that because I looked at the HM plan and saw that I was supposed to do 7 x 400's this week, not 6.

Also, thanks for letting me know about the GLIRC run on Sunday. That might be a good venue for my 8 miler plus they have giant cupcakes. I'll see if TPP is up for it.
