I've wanted to break 55 minutes for...Thank you! I've wanted to break 55 minutes for a long time so my next goal is to break 54. The long runs definitely help with speed. Every year I've recorded my best paces between late August and November when I've run and distance trained for 10K's. Soon you will be close t...Nice job on your new PR! Soon you will be close to the 50 minute barrier. Add a few more races to your calendar for next year including longer runs such as the 10 Mile Brewery Run, the Kings Park 15k and the Suffolk Half. My times really improved once I got serious preparing for those longer races including marathons.
